We had Izzy Young teach square dance at one of the early Old-Time & Bluegrass Conventions in Denmark. We had fun dancing on a large lawn. Izzy had fun. “It’s all about people rubbing their bodies against each other,” Izzy said with a laugh between the calls.
I envy the many wonderful old-time musicians in Stockholm who, I know, have had many great moment with this wonderful person, who left us with vivid lasting memories of joy, wit and laughter.
